CK5250X36/50 CNC DOUBLE COLUMN VERTICAL LATHE

1.General description
This machine is CNC double column vertical lathe, this machine has the character of high efficiency and excellent performance,the right tool head is CNC controlled, the left tool head is servo driven, high speed steel tool or carbide tool can be used to cut ferrus or non-ferrus materials with constant speed, inner surface and outer surface or connic surface cutting can be done in this machine. The CNC SYSTEM used for this machine is SIMENS 802D.
This vertical lathe has the character of high table load and high precision machining accuracy and life durability, etc.

3.Machine Structure
The machine is composed with table, table base, main gearbox, gantry, crossbeam, vertical railhead, feed box, electrical system, hydraulic system, protective device and other parts.
3.1 tables
The table is composed with table, table base, spindle parts and transmission mechanism. The table and its base are integrated casting structure. It adopts high-strength and low-stress iron casting. It has enough rigidity, intensity and thermal stability to ensure the stability when cutting.
The spindle of table adopts high-accuracy double-row short cylindrical roller bearing which can adjust the radial clearance itselt. The axial direction adopts pre-tighten thrust ball bearing to ensure the high precise rotation of table, and it also has long life durability.
The table guideway is constant oil flow and hydro-static guideway. Multi-point and equal oil supply can improve and guarantee the high table load.
3.2 The gantry is composed with connecting beam, left and right vertical columns. The gantry and the base of table is closed structure. There are left and right elevating and descending boxes on the gantry, which are driven by double-shaft AC motor. It can make crossbeam do elevating and descending movements along vertical column guideway through gear pair, worm gear, worm pair and double screw.
The left and right column, connecting beam, and other big parts adopt high-strength, low stress casting materail, which can make the machine have better intensity and rigidity. Cancel the inner stress through twice ageing to ensure the precision also long retentivity and stability of machine.
3.3 Crossbeam
The crossbeam does elevatiang and descending movements on the left and right vertical column guideway. The crossbeam is composed with horizontal feeding transmission mechanism, clucking mechanism. Both sides of crossbeam are connecting with a auto lubricating station. It adopts timed and quantitative lubrication.
The horizontal feeding mechanism of railhead is installed on the crossbeam. It is driven by AC servo motor, and make ball screw rotate through gear reducing speed. Railhead can realize horizontal feeding and fast-moving through ball nut.
There is a unloading steel belt on the top of the crossbeam, which can bear some weight of railhead to reduce deflection of crossbeam.
The crossbeam chucking adopts hydraulic clamping.
Stainless steel pulling plate protective cover is on the crossbeam, which can protect guide way and ball screw.
3.4 vertical railhead
Left railhead and right railhead are used in this machine, each of them is composed with crossbeam sliding base, ram, feeding box, balance cylinder and ballscrew components. Raihead can do horizontal movement on the crossbeam, and the ram do vertical movement along sliding base.
The left vertical railheads is servo driven. The horizontal and vertical movements are driven by homemade AC servo motor, through gear, screw pair transmission, then drive railhead moveing. Both the horizontal and vertical guideways of railhead adopt lubricatinag guideway. The sliding guideway surface of railhead is sticking plastic.The right vertical rail head is CNC controlled, the vertical and horizontal feed movement are both controlled that can cut complicated rotating curved surface.
The ram of vertical railhead is equiped with hydraulic balance device to balance the weight of ram, and make the ram move smoothly. The AC servo motor of Z axis is braking model avoiding the ram getting down when power off.
Both left and right rams are 240X240mm2steel ram, which is of large ridigity reserving. The weight on the ram adopts hydraulic balance to make ram elevate and descend sensitively.
3.5 Main transmission
The main transmission of machine adopts DC motor of Z4 series in Shanghai Nanyang Motor Company, and adopts vertical axis driving, through DC adjusting speed system and machinery two-steps speed-changing. The machinery speed-changing realizes through electromagnetic sliding valve controlling cylinder, then speed-changing fork pushing gear.
3.6 Hydraulic system
Hydraulic system includes: hydraulic system of dydraulic station, hydrostatic system of table, speed-changing system of main transmission, crossbeam clamping, and vertical railhead ram hydraulic balance system.
The hydraulic case has enough capacity, and is equiped with oil temperature control box, ensure the temperature variety of hydraulic system does not influence the precision of machine.
