The field-proven KOSUN ZYQ series Mud/Gas separator is an extremely reliable and vital piece of safety equipment for today’s drilling operations.

It is mainly used to remove big bubbles with diameter above φ3mm and these bubbles refer to the expanded gas in the fluid that fill in some parts of well annulus. Well kick even spilling out to the rotary table will easily occur if they are not removed.

KOSUN ZYQ series Mud/Gas separator normal pressure sulfureted hydrogen-proof liquid-gas separator is made of high qualified materials and it can effectively prevent the erosion brought by hazardous gases and protect operators and the machine.

KOSUN ZYQ series Mud/Gas separator mainly consist of 1)air displacement pipe 2) inlet 3)relief valve 4) man hole 5)outlet 6) discharging hole;

2. The separated gas is carried by vent lines to a remote location and flared. Fail-safe gas delivery is controlled by a back-pressure manifold valve in the flare line.

3. The unit is ruggedly built and coated with corrosion-resistant epoxy to ensure long life while processing hazardous and toxic gases.
