Ceramic corrugated packing is applied to the drying tower, absorbing tower, cooling tower, desulphurization towers, rectifying tower, washing tower, coal gas scrubbing tower, coking scrubbing benzene tower, scrubbing NH3 tower, ammonia washing tower,naphthalene washing tower, fertilizer saturation-heat water column and scrubbing tower, fertilizer heat gas saturation tower and regenerative tower.
Ceramic corrugated packing consists of many packing units of similar geometric design. Corrugated sheets placed in parallel form cylindrical units called corrugated tower packing. These are a form of highly efficient packing with separating efficiency several times higher than that of loose packing. They have the quality of low-pressure drop, increased operating elasticity, minimum amplifying effect, and maximum liquid treatment compared to loose tower packing.
1. Application of ceramic corrugated packing:
(1). Rectify absorption of corrosion mixture which has certain requirement of pressure drop and number of theoretical plate.
(2). Vacuum operation with the absolute pressure is above 100 Pa.
(3). Rectify of halide organic compound.
(4). Used as heat exchanger, mist eliminator or catalyst carrier and so on.
(5). Be applied to the reconstruction of large-scale tower because it reduces the carrying capacity.
