Licensed by Mr. Vaclav Feres, German engineer, this evaporator was sold worldwide in more than 500 units for food, pharmaceutical, herbal and chemical companies. The centrifugal force as high as 500G is produced by the rotation of rotor inhibits the foaming and minimizes the entrainment from rotor, thus product loss resulting from poor machine design can be greatly reduced. Monitoring of the product processed on the rotor is possible through front sight glasses to adjust the optimum feed rate of product. The feed solution is formed into thin film by centrifugal force and thus is heated on the rotor only for less than one seconde thus to minimize the damage by heat from long time evaporation. Also, the evaporator is maintained under vacuum to keep the operating pressure very low, which contributes to the reduction of thermal degradation. After evaporation process is finished, the machine can be cleaned with water, common solution or other cleaning solution circulated in the system.
The machine is so easy to access by opening the front door or chamber that the interior of the machine such as heating surface and chamber wall can be visibly checked or further cleaning by hand is possible. Trials are possible with some pilot plants ready at our Technical Center in Shizuoka, Japan.
