1.biomass pellet plant ---Chipping and grinding

A reduction in size is necessary. When the thickness of raw wood material is >10mm, and >50 * 50mm(L * W), we need use the Wood Chipper to chip them into small pieces, then crush the small pieces into wood powder with diameter less 3mm by Hammer Mill (Crusher).

2. biomass pellet plant---Drying

The moisture percentage of the wood must be reduced from 50% to not more than 12-13%. Our Rotary Dryer is made up of Stove and Main Rotary Dryer, which can realize to reduce the moisture from 60% to 10%. Our stove is fueled by coal, which can save electricity consumption largely.

3.biomass pellet plant---Mixing

A mixing silo make the product homogeneous and in the silo the product can be stocked.

4.biomass pellet plant---Pelleting

In a conditioner, steam, molasses, fat or liquid can be added to the mixture before it enters the holes of the pellet-mill die,pressed by the roles.

On the outlet of the holes some knives cut the pellets at the desired length.

5.biomass pellet plant--- Cooling

After pelleting, the product is very hot and a counterflow cooler cools it, to approach +5 degree above the environmental temperature, in order give the right hardness and the better consistance to store and handle it.

The machine is a counterflow cooler full line of air intake and recovery powders.
