1. Introduction

BZD jib Crane consists of a pivoting head and boom assembly which carries a hoist and trolley unit. The pivoting head is supported either by a floor-mounted mast providing 360 degree boom rotation or by an existing building column which provides 180 degrees of boom rotation.

2. Technical characteristics

lifting capacity 0,25t-5t, lifting speed with standard wire rope hoist 8m (0,8m) / min, arm length max.16m, lifting height up to 12 m, 360 or 180 rotation, motorized or manual rotation , simpler and less expensive than bridge or gantry crane of the same capacity, simple structure, work class- frequent. Often used in welding/fabrication stations, for simple loading / unloading operations where it is not necessary to spot a load precisely. BZD Jib can be staffed with chain hoist, upon client requirement.

3. Structure

BZD type pillar jib crane is classified into five parts: column, arm, reducer, electric hoist and control system. Mechanical limit switch is designed for 350 degrees rotation. If needed, we can add electric slip ring to achieve free-angle rotation.

Column

The supporting system of crane are fixed on the column, the column is made of tapered self-aligning bearings that in double rows which will bear the radial force and axial force.

Arm

The arm is welded with I – beam (or box girder) and supporting arm. It’s used for supporting electric or manual rotation to achieve the horizontal traveling and lifting works of electric hoist.

Reducer

The reducer is fixed under the supporting arm, it will drive the roller wheel to rotate around the column through the support force from the supporting arm, and then the arm of the crane can rotate.

Electric hoist

The electric hoist moves along the arm and lifts the goods by up and down.

Control system

The jib crane is operated by pendant (operation voltage of 36V) or wireless remote. There are press buttons on the handle for hoist rising and falling, the traveling of trolley, as well as the rotation of the arm.
