Cast-Iron Boiler Economizer

Despite the heat transfer of convective heating surfaces, the smoke coming out of the hearth of boiler is still as hot as 300 to 400 °C, containing a great amount of heat, which may directly affect the efficiency of the boiler. The economizer is installed at the tail of the flue. It can utilize hot smoke to heat incoming water, reducing heat loss, saving coal, and further improving the boiler's efficiency. Moreover, it can also improve water quality, and reduce erosion and scaling.

In the low-pressure boiler, economizer inlet temperature is lower, the water temperature is not high, water is so corrosive to metal, cast iron economizer can increase the corrosion resistance of the water quality.

Cast iron economizer is wing-shaped type.Compare to the fluorescent tubes, it is five times smaller and four times light.

Economizer is a counter flow, and have high efficiency of heat transfer.
