Sawdust briquette making machine

Sawdust Briquette machine uses a large screw to grind, compress and extrude the biomass into briquettes. The natural lignin content in biomass is liberated with wood fiber under high pressure and temperature.In the briquetting process lignin serves as the glue and combines the particles of wood together,thus binding, compressing the biomass to form into various moulds of high density briquette, such as hexagonal,quadrangular, square,etc. As your requirement, we can also change the shape to order. And the diameter of briquettes are from 50-80 mm. Moreover non-binder needs to be used during this process.

The process for producing charcoal briquette as follow:

1. Crush the raw material into small pieces (diameter is about 3-5mm)

2. Dry the material by machine or dried it in the sun , till the moisture is less than 12%

3. Put the material into feed let of briquette machine

4. Produce the briquette stick from biomass material without any additive

4. Carbonized the briquette stick.

Working Principle:

Briquetting is a process that biomass is compressed under high pressure and high temperature. The machine uses a large screw to grind, compress and extrude the biomass into briquettes.
The self bonding of biomass to form a briquette involves the thermo-plastic flow of the biomass. The natural lignin content in biomass is liberated under high pressure and temperature. Lignin serves as the glue in the briquetting process, binds the particles of wood together, thus binding, compressing the biomass to form into high density briquettes.
