PURPOSE AND DEFINITION
The cooling tower decreases the water temperature of the compressor closed loop circuit down to the desired value at the compressor inlet. Cooling is obtained by evaporation. The cooling towers, designed for outdoor operation, can operate in ambient temperatures between -40°C and +40°C (-40°F and 104°F). Correct sizing is based on web bulb temperature (for example, a dry temperature of 30°C (86°F) will become 22.2°C (72°F) at 50% relative humidity)1. 1

RANGE
The dissipated power range extends from 204 to 847 kW for water flows between 13 and 53 m3/h (7.7 to 31 cfm) in the standard version.
