It is a kind of dimidiate or involutory-type volume damper designed to adjust a windport and diffuser.The air goes through the herringbone gate at a constant flow rate and an even speed.Turning the regulator enables the side board to adjust the opening/closing angle of the gate blade simultaneously to regulate the wind volume.The regulating is easy and the gate blade can keep a fixed position within the regulating range. It can be made in the sizes matching all windport necks and connected by rivets.
