Overview:

Multi-stage Hydrocyclone Station is used for removing soluble and insoluble protein, fine fiber, sugar, raw starch slurry which is a key equipment of the concentration, washing, and refinement process in the starch production.

Based on the domestic and foreign advanced solid-liquid separation technology, GOODWAY and Henan Agricultural University have cooperative studied out the Hydrocyclone technology. According to the different properties of potato, sweet potato, cassava, kudzu root and other materials, we set up emulated mathematical models, design and combine the cyclone tubes with pertinence. Thus, hydrocyclone can complete the operation tasks of material separation, washing, clarification, concentration and screening independently.

Hydrocyclone, sturdy and durable, with cramped construction, convenient installation, no moving parts inside, can guarantee the continuity of starch processing.

Structure and Principle:

Single cyclone is comprised of hydrocyclone and starch pump. Combine some single cyclone together to finish the refining process. Such combined cyclones are called Multistage Hydrocyclone Station.

Hydrocyclone is comprised of cylinder body, door closure, adjusting bolt, big clapboard, small clapboard, hand wheel, overflow pipe, feed inlet, underflow opening, O-type lock ring, air filter and so on. The cylinder body is separated into three chambers: feed inlet, overflow and underflow and sealed by O-type lock ring.(Figure)

In the Multi-stage Hydrocyclone Station, countercurrent method is used for cleaning starch slurry. There are feed inlet, overflow opening, and underflow connector in each stage cyclone of the system, so the interfaces must be firmly connected to ensure no leakage.

According to the technology requirements, Multi-stage Hydrocyclone Station should be installed to accurately position. The system must be placed at ground level, by adjusting the bolt on the support feet to adjust the equipment in all levels.

The main parts of the equipment made of high quality stainless steel ensure the material from erosion. With a special treatment on the surface, the equipment has a good oil and dirt resistant performance. The high efficient hydrocyclone pipes are made of nylon certified by FDA. The multi-stage hydrocyclone unit, integrating concentration, recycling, washing, fine residue separation and other functions, is simple, beautiful and stable.
