The 60 ton VOD furance is ideal forsteelrefining to produce high quality steel, stainless or other special type of steel.

VOD-60 type furance providesfull functions:

• de-gassing under vacuum condition.
• argon stirring,
• alloy material adding,
• temperature sampling
• industrial TV monitoring

Main Application:

This series of VOD furnace is mainly used for refining various of steels, such as quality carbon steel, alloy structure steel, roller bearing steel, low carbon stainless steel. It has strong capability of vacuum suction so that it can minimize oxygen and nitrogen content in the steel. It can also adjust composition in molten steel to let the impurity float up so as to improve purity of steel.

Equipment description:

The VD/VOD type furnace is composed of

• vacuum tank,
• tank cover and its lifting devices,
• steel ladle,
• oxygen lancing mechanism,
• material charging mechanism under vacuum condition,
• temperature measurement sampling and monitoring system,
• oxygen system, argon system
• cooling water system,
• vacuum pump and vacuum pipeline system.
