Brief Introduction of Ball Mill

The Cement Ball Mill is a high efficiency fine grinding machine that widely used in the industrial production and select mine . especially used in cement , silicate , new construction material, refractory materials , fertilizer , black and non-ferrous meterial ore dressing , glass ceramic industry ,etc. Can grind the ores and other grindability materials with dry or wet way . According to the ore discharging ways , ball mill can be divided into tabular type and flowing type .

When wet Ball Mill works, certain water and other liquid will be added into materials to increase flowability of materials, so the capacity is increased. When dry Ball Mill works, capacity is affected because material flowability is reduced, so absorbing wind device is needed on the outlet of Ball Mill, and then negative pressure is formed in the Ball Mill to increase flowability of material, so the capacity is increased.

Structure of Ball Mill

Ball mill consists of feeding part , discharging part , transmission part ( reducer , small transmission gears , motor , electric control ) and other major parts .

The quill shaft adopts cast steel part and the liner is detachable.

The turning gearwheel adopts casting hobbing process and the drum is equipped with wear-resistant liner, which has good wear-resistance.

Working principle of Ball Mill

The feeding device evenly send the materials to the first grinding bin of the ball mill cylinder , the first grind bin has the step plate or corrugated plate , built in different specifications steel ball , Cylinder rotation produce the centrifugal force that throw the balls to a certain height , balls falling to beat and hit the materials for achieve the materials coarse grinding . then, through the segregation board , to the second grinding bin where inside has the flate plate and steel balls for the regrinding , then, powder will be get by the discharging part , grinding work finished .
