Introduction

Disc chipper is a special equipment for producinghigh quality chips, widely used in thepreparation sectionduring the productive process in the industries of textile, papermaking, pulping, artificial board, etc . It can cut logs, undersized trees into high quality industry chips witheven length and thickness, anduniformincision, also can cut branches, boards and so on.

But fortoo thick(more than350mm),too fine(less than30mm),too short(less than250mm),too thin(less than5mm), andirregularraw materials (undecomposed tree stumps, branches, etc.), it has not sufficient uniform cutting function, or just cut off the materials based on the origin, for the section of the bamboo wood whose thickness is less than5mm, it has not sufficient uniform cutting function.

Classify

Wood chippers are devided into two categories:fixed typeandmobile type. The fixed type is mainly used in the factory, while the mobile type in the forest and hills. They are devided intodrum typeanddisc typeaccording to the structure form of the working parts, according to feeding ways, also devided intoobliquemouth feeding typeandflat mouth feeding type.

Components
It is mainly composed of the engine base, feeding port, cutter disc, enclosure, chipping blade and electronic control, the machine can adjust the cutting blade as needed to produce chips ofdifferentspecifications and thickness.

Working Principle
Timbers enter into the chipper by the feed port, when they get to contact with the cutting blade, they are peeled and cutted along with the high-speed rotation of the cutter disc, the chips cutted are sent out in the cutting chamber by the high speed flow generated by the fan blade of the cutter disc.
