History
Our DEPENDVISE is vise with a history of more than 20 years in the world.
In Japan is Toyota, Panasonic, Canon, Nikon, Hitachi, delivery record to major companies such as.
Although the wedge clamp type vise with serrated exist from other manufacturers, it is the wedge clamp type vise with serrated in the world first where this DEPENDVISE was developed and commercialization.
The wedge clamp type vise with serrated currently sold is the product which imitated DEVENDVISE.
Please try the vise made in Japan on its own high quality high precision.
If it uses, a difference will surely be known.
The difference with other manufacturer's vise
First of all, the difference from the other companies is theaccuracy of serrated.
The serrated of DEPENDVISE is processed by the dedicated grindstone.
it is the processed by the grindstone for finish once again after processing by a grindstone.
It is finished invery highly precise serratedby the favor of the processing.
The next difference is quenching.
General vice is surface only quenching mostly.
However, DEPENDVISE is not surface quenching.
The total quenching by air quenching. So the body and jaw is the inside quenching.
By that it has very durable,so you can use a long time.
The next difference is material.
Without using a common tool steels, our vice usestool steels.
If it has quenching,it doesnot secular change.
This tool steel has such characteristics.
Can use still high accuracy over a long period there is a difference like this.
Contents are different even if appearance is alike.
We are proud of it as made in Japan.

Specifications
Principle of clamping downward force by wedge.
By tightening the cap screw, the wedge slides down between the two tapered
jaws while forcing.
Both jaws (A and B) to open down and forward, thus clamping two workpieces
simultaneously.
Since the force generated is perpendicular to the tapered faces, it works
between the parallel force.
For rigid workpiece clamping and the straight downward force for prevention
of workpiece lifting.
After tightening the jaws (A and B) and the wedge.
Becomes uni-body and exerts force on each other which enables the clamping
members to be very rigid against extremely heavy milling force.
The doubling effect of wedge clamping makes the 1/4" hex wrench generate
12KN ~ 20KN clamping force.
