Straw Briquette Machine

1. Character
Straw Briquetting machine is designed for crop straw which has large volume and low density material to press tightly. This machine adopts Piston punching theory. First, crush raw material of straw. Second, they will be sent to pre-press room through screw conveyor. When piston comes back, material will be pre-pressed in compression tube, and then piston goes forward to make materials into die. After that material will be sent to forming tube and cooled. Finally, they will be cut and packed.

2. Raw material
Biomass Briquettes are made off the Agriculture Waste, Forestry Waste and Industrial Waste. The major residues which can be used are, Rice Husk, Coffee Husk, Coir Pitch, Jute Sticks, Sugarcane Baggasse, Groundnut Shell, Mustard Stalks, Cotton Stalks, Sawdust, Caster Seed Shells / Stalk, Wood Chips, Bamboo Dust, Tobacco Waste, Tea Waste, Paddy Straw, Wheat Straw, Sunflower Stalk, Palm Husk, Soybean Husk, Veneer Residues, Barks & Straws, Forestry waste, Seeds Cases etc.

3. Requirement of the raw material
1. Size: the diameter smaller than 5mm and the length smaller than 30mm, if the material can not achieve the requirement, it should be crush first.
2. Moisture: lower than 5-30%, if raw material has high moisture it should be reduced by Sun drying or using flash dries.
