Excellent product quality

The products can provide uniform and high-efficiency closed circulating airflow needed to freeze high quality products. The uniquely designed air distribution mode forms independent freezing areas, and high efficiency airflows through mesh belts cause higher food freezing speed, larger production and lower weight loss, thereby realizing higher quality of frozen products.

High cleanliness and sanitation

High-strength stainless steel mesh belts and specially designed supporting structures are adopted, thus eliminating sanitation dead angles, making cleaning work easy and convenient and cleaning thorough and reaching the requirements of international food safety HACCP certification.

Product use

The series spiral freezer products are widely applied in quick freezing of multiple foods including fried foods, aquatic products, meats, prepared foods, vegetables, etc. and are applicable especially to the bulk materials requiring long freezing time including fried foods, meat foods, etc. Due to multi-layer rotary motion of conveyor belts along circumferential direction, the equipment can be fitted with long mesh belts in a small space; therefore, on the premise of not reducing the running speed, sufficient freezing time of frozen products can be guaranteed.

Product composition

The LSS series single-drum spiral freezers and LSD series double-drum spiral freezers consist of insulation structures, stainless steel mesh belts, transmission systems, tensioning devices, evaporators, air distribution systems, cleaning and drying devices, feeding devices, discharging devices, and electric control systems.

Insulation structure

The insulation structure is assembled of two-sided stainless steel rigid polyurethane sandwich panels and has excellent insulation property. The thickness of side panels and ceiling panels among conventional insulation panels is 100mm, and the thickness of bottom panels is 150mm. The inside of the insulation structure has spacious circular channels for convenience of maintenance and cleaning by operating personnel.

Insulation panels

The insulation panels use the environment-friendly material R141B as a foaming agent, which has high quality and protects environment.

The stainless steel outer panels of the side insulation panels are 0.8mm wire drawing panels which have high strength and are flat and attractive.

The insulation panels are manufactured using the advanced technology and equipment assembly line of Italian CANNON and have a foaming density up to over 40Kg/m3.

The insulation panels are mutually locked by the hook lock boxes prefabricated in the panels and filled up with high quality and food grade sealants resistant to low temperature to eliminate cold leakage.

Bottom panel and foundation

The insulation structure is integrally placed on the foundation platform manufactured at the specified position of the processing workshop, which can ensure the stability of running process and also prevent unfavorable circumstances caused by ground subsidence.

High strength embedded steel pieces used to support the whole octagon column and rotary cage are laid in the bottom panels and integrally formed through foaming with the upper and lower face plates, thus realizing secure supporting and good thermal insulation property.

The inner face plates in the bottom panels use 1.5mm stainless steel sheets. During installation, the bottom panels are mutually welded using press plates so as to form an integral water basin structure; depending upon the structure, defrosting water and cleaning water cannot infiltrate and the thermal insulation property of the bottom panels is effectively protected.

An integrally foam-formed drain ditch is set up on the bottom panels and the accumulated water is thoroughly discharged via the automatic drainage devices at the two ends, thus reaching food hygiene requirements and ensuring long-term reliable use.

Transmission system

The whole transmission system of the spiral freezer includes: rotary cage, octagon column, supporting guide rail composed of mesh belt backing strips, speed reducer frame, universal self-aligning bearing, mesh belt, mesh belt tensioning device, mesh belt transmission device at the feed inlet and outlet, etc. The speed reducer frame consists of the frame used to install speed reducer, drive sprocket, driven sprocket, chain and chain tensioning device.

The spiral freezer manufactured by Yantai Moon uses the unique slight tensioning technology of DANTECH in the transmission mode, the tensile force at each point on mesh belts is uniform, and the whole mesh belts are in a uniform and relaxed state, thus realizing low failure ratio and long service life.

Rotary cage and backing strips

During making of the rotary cage, its quality is strictly controlled as per the quality control system and it is measured elaborately with specialized measuring equipment, thus ensuring machining precision and consistency of the rotary cage and establishing a foundation for stable operation.

The rotary cage uses a stainless steel frame structure and is integrally designed securely and reasonably. Stainless steel windproof wrapper sheets are set up peripherally, thus improving the utilization efficiency of wind; in addition, the uniformly distributed UHMWPE ultra-high molecular polyethylene wearing strips outside the wrapper sheets ensure uniform and consistent friction resistance.

The UHMWPE ultra-high molecular polyethylene materials are integrally extruded and formed by professional manufacturers using special machining technologies; the surface of the materials has extremely high consistency and very high strength and tenacity and can ensure long-term stable and continuous running. During long-term running at low temperature, the wearing strips will not be of embrittlement and aged without fragments, thus conforming to food hygiene and safety requirements.

The octagon column and mesh belt supporting structure are stable and secure and provide a powerful support to stable and reliable operation of mesh belts.
