The rigid C/C felt is to provide all the advantages of ordinary graphite rigid felt insulation, with additional performance which could meet the demands of modern high temperature vacuum ovens/furnaces.

We have four types of this Rigid C/C felt:

1. ordinary felt without covers

2. felt with carbon cloth surfaces

3. felt with graphite foil surfaces

4. felt with sandwich structure

Structure: The sandwich rigid felt is produced by laminating multiple layers of Carbon Carbon Composite (C/C, CFC or carbon carbon). Carbon cloth or graphite foil could be bonded to one or both surfaces.

Dimension: Felts are customisable according to customer needs. Available in all size. Maximum size: 1500mm*3500mm

Features:

Density: 0.15-0.50

Erosion resistance:

Features: C/C exterior provides a robust barrier; protecting the insulating core from damage by dropped parts, melt splatter, or high velocity particle abrasion. Fabricating thermal field (hot zone ) panels as single monolithic sheets eliminate most joints; a significant source of particle generation.

Machinability: Highly machinable with conventional methods such as cutting, drilling, sawing and milling. Could be supplied with pre-machined shiplap joints to facilitate rapid furnance rebuilds.

Dimensional stability: solid construction, won't bow, warp or crack as a result of thermal shock or cycling.
