Quantitative Filter Paper

The line of Quantitative MicroClean filter paper has been developed for use in techniques to measure particles suspended in a liquid.

They have a very low ash content and present a very high mechanical strength in a wet state.

They are made using reverse osmosis water and treated with diluted acid to remove any impurities organic and inorganic.

CN-540 Line

Ideal for quantitative analysis in general and determinations of gravity that require rapid speed filtration.

Characteristics

Filtration speed medium to fast
Weight: 85 g/m3
Thickness: 0.20 mm
Ash residue: 0.01%
Retention average: 2mm.
Speed filtration: 27 seconds according to DIN 53-137.

Uses:

Quantitative analysis in general and determinations of gravity that require fast speed filtration.
It is also frequently used as a filter for high-purity filtration rapid trace elements such as chromate silver, lead sulphate and hydroxides zinc and aluminum, and sulphites rapid analysis of silicones.
In soil analysis finds application to separate solid and aqueous extracts.
It is recommended as an alternative to implementing the roles S & S 589 / 2 (banda white), Whatman 40 or Macherey Nagel-640m.

CN-541 Line

It is the l ine filter paper recommended for analytical procedures with thick dust or precipitates floculentos or gelatinous.

Characteristics

Filtration Speed fast
Weight: 85g/m3
Thickness: 0.20 mm
Speed filtration: 9 seconds according to DIN 53-137.
Ash residue: 0.01%
Retention average: 10mm.

Uses:

Quantitative analysis in general and especially in determinations of gravimetry floculentos precipitated hydroxides or gelatinous as iron, zirconium, aluminum and cobalt sulfide.
It can also be used in air pollution controls to determine gaseous compounds.
Their use is recommended in analytical procedures rapid precipitates unstable as silicon.
Other applications include the analysis of bauxite, alkali metal in enamels and varnishes and analysis of paper.
It is recommended as an alternative to implementing the roles S & S 589 / 1 (banda black), Whatman 41 or Macherey Nagel-640W

CN-542 Line

The more convenient line for determinations precipitated by very fine particles.

Characteristics

Filtration speed slow
Weight: 85g/m3
Thickness: 0.17 mm
Speed filtration: 140 seconds as DIN 53-137.
Ash residue: 0.01%
Retention average: 1.5 mm

Uses:

Special determinations gravimetry Precipitate of very fine particles such as barium sulfate and lead oxide, copper, zinc and nickel sulphide, the oxalate and calcium fluoride.
Specifically for quantitative determinations of alkali metals in enamels and varnishes, stains determinations of essays by blanks (reactve strips) and fine sulfate crystals.
It is recommended as an alternative to implementing the roles S & S 589 / 3 (banda blue), Whatman 42 or Macherey Nagel-640d.

CN544 Line

Characteristics

Filtration capacity: Medium-Slow (100 s).
Weight: 70 g/m2.
Thickness: 0,16 mm.
Average retention capacity: 4-7 μ.
Residual ash content: 0,01%.
Band: Red.

Uses:
General quantitative analysis, special for gravimetric determinations of precipitates such as (hot) barium
sulfate, barium chromate or calcium oxalate.

Available in 55 and 70 mm diameter.
