Introduction

Drum-type wood chipper can cut logs, brush wood, slabs, waste veneers, bamboo, cotton stalks and other non-wood fiber rod stems into certain specificational sheet stocks which are used as basic raw materials of manufacturing particle board, fiber board, non-wood artifical board pulping and paper making.

Components

Drum-type wood chipper consists of engine base, knife roll, upper and lower feeding roller, conveyor belt, hydraulic system, etc.

The engine base is welded of high-intensity steel plate, is the supporting foundation of the whole machine. The knife roll is installed of three or four fly-cutters by special made fly-cutter bolt through the pressure block.

According to different thickness of the raw material cutted, the upper feeding roller assembly can float up and down in a certain range with the help of the hydraulic system, the qualified sheet stocks cutted down fall from the screen hole, and discharge from the bottom, the big sheet stocks will be cutted again in the machine.
