Monocrystal diamond turnig tool is used for mirror finishing and micro-fabrication of LCD light guide plate metal mold made of Ni-P, Al-alloy, acrylic and other resin materials. Turning tool used for cutting mold of various optical films must be capable of withstanding grinding of the total length of several ten km or more. The form turning tool, whose shape accuracy influences the optical properties, is a product to play an important role. In other words, the LCD panel or optical parts are governed by the diamond material used and the edge quality obtained through polishing.
