Brief Introduction- Iron Mining Magnetic Separator

Magnetite mine machine is designated for wet magnetic separating of material with granularity below 3mm, such as magnetite, magnetic pyrite, roasted ore and ilmenite. It can also be used to remove iron for coal, nonmetal materials, building materials, etc. Our Magnetic Separators are designed to recover ferromagnetic materials. The separators are available in designs and sizes to provide solutions for all applications.

Working principle- Iron Mining Magnetic Separator

Mine Machinery Factory Magnetic Separator used for removing the non-magnetic minerals in the strong magnetic minerals. When the slurry is injected into the magnetic field, the strong magnetic mineral is adsorbed on the cylinder surface, the weak magnetic and non-magnetic minerals are successively excluded, the strong magnetic minerals adsorbed on the cylinder was taken out of the magnetic field with the rotation of the cylinder. The rotating one is suitable for dry sorting of fine strong magnetic minerals, for the role of high-speed rotation, the amount of rolling of the magnetic particles in Wet magnetic separator is much larger than the ordinary magnetic separator. It has a significant the effect for the destruction of magnetic agglomeration and improves the high-grade ore. There are two kinds of sorted materials: magnetic material and non-magnetic material, the machine is suitable for roughing and selecting materials whose sizes are 3-0mm.

Operation- Iron Mining Magnetic Separator

When the raw materials flow into the tank body of the wet drum magnetic separator,

• Firstly, the flowing direction of the raw materials is the same as the rotary direction of the magnetic drum, the iron magnetite materials are attracted to the surface of drum. This is the first separation.
• In the second step, the flushing water below flush the raw materials back for the second separation. This time the flowing direction of the raw materials is opposite to the rotary direction of the magnetic drum.
• Then along with the rotation of drum, the iron magnetite materials on the surface of drum will finally leave the magnetic field and fall to the ore concentrate box under gravity. Also, the flushing water above helps to flush the iron magnetite into the ore concentrate box.
• The weak magnetic and non-magnetic materials can not be attracted and will flow to the discharge pipe for tailings.

Q:What factors I need to get a quotation?

A: Material bulk density, mesh size(length & angle for conveying series) & ideal capacity for proper type, granularity distribution is recommended. product material requirement (carbon steel Q235A, stainless steel SUS304 or SUS316,etc.) Voltage & Frequency(Hz) is also needed for a precise quotation.
