Ink jet digital printing machine with “drop demand” technology. It has been specifically devised for printing on ceramic tiles, using pigmented and non-pigmented inks, non-water-based solutions and suspensions. The main principle making this printer suitable and performing for being used on ceramic tiles is due to the fact that ink is continuously moved by the printing head; all the polluting particles and air bubbles that could obstruct the single nozzle are projected outside; thanks to this system, the suspension is maintained, dramatically reducing useless and dangerous production stops. Flowing is obtained through a special hydraulic system; polluting particles are removed by a set of filters. The absolute innovations of this new digital printer are mainly two, the first is a printing resolution of 360dpi, the second is the possibility of managing the drop dimension on 8 levels. In this way, a very high printing quality is obtained, with contrasting shades. The used standard is four-color printing (CMYK), but electronics and software are implemented for printing types up to eight colors. To use these features in the best way, a special and dedicated microcontroller electronics has been designed and produced, along with a control software with operator’s interface and a simple mechanics, to achieve top performance and let standard operators use it simply , in full NEWTECH style.
