Usage of copper
Approximately 65% of copper produced is used for electrical applications. Copper has the highest electrical conductivity of any metal, apart from silver or gold, leading to applications in:

Copper ore is mined either at via open pit mines or underground mines. The beginning for all copper is to mine sulfide and oxide ores through digging or blasting and then crushing. In the crushing process, the copper ore is broken into small grain sizes of less than 25 centimeters in diameter by primary crusher, then crushing it to walnut-sized pieces by secondary crusher or fineness crusher.

Wet Cement Copper Ore Grinding Plant Working Principle:
(1)This Copper Ore Grinding Plant is horizontal type and tubular running device, has two warehouses. This machine is grid type and its outside runs along gear.
(2)The material enters spirally and evenly the first warehouse of the milling machine along the input material hollow axis by input material device. In this warehouse , there is a ladder scaleboard or ripple scaleboard, and different specification steel balls are installed on the scaleboard, when the barrel body rotates and then produces centrifugal force ,at this time , the steel ball is carried tosome height and falls to make the material grinding and striking.
(3)After grinded coarsely in the first warehouse, the material then enters into the second warehousefor regrinding with the steel ball and scaleboard. In the end, the powder is discharged by output material board andthe end products are completed.
Copper Ore Beneficiation Process
To mine copper, the first step is to blast the copper ore from a open pit mine, then loaded and transported to the crushing plant. In a large-scale copper ore beneficiation plant, crushing plant and grinding plant is needed. In the crusher, the ore is broken into smaller pieces of less than 25 centimeters in diameter. Crushed ore is then loaded on to a conveyor belt which takes it to the concentrator. In the concentrator, primary grinding mill and secondary ball mills grind the ore until it is a fine powder, Then the copper ore is crushed and screened, with the fine sulfide ore going to froth flotation cells for recovery of copper.
