Crescent Ice

Crescent Ice is shaped like a half-moon and moves freely in any liquid without packing together. Its unique shape allows for excellent displacement and allows liquid to flow over it more easily, so there’s no messy splashing and less waste.

Crescent Ice is unique in that it moves around freely and packs together tightly in the bin, achieving maximum Ice storage capacity. Therefore, there are no air pockets as the individual crescents do not stick together in the storage bin. The unique shape is extremely versatile and extends from the splash-free serving of post mix soft drinks through to diverse applications such as fish transportation and display and even laser therapy.

To produce crescent shaped ice our RUIHER ZBY range has a vertical stainless steel evaporator which is exceptionally durable and virtually maintenance free. The cubes produced are crystal clear as only the purest water molecules will freeze on to the evaporator. RUIHER ZBY machines not only produce great ice, they are also water and energy efficient. The control board manages the freezing cycles and adjusts the setting to accommodate external factors that influence the ice making process. The evaporator and the exterior of RUIHER ZBY machines are made of stainless steel to ensure hygiene and durability. The access panel is sited conveniently in the front of each unit for easy access. Application of different Ice Shape:

The shapes on offer are Diced cubes, Half Diced, Contour cubes or Regular Cube, Nuggets and Bullet, Flakes. Each of the different shapes is suited for different applications and has its own advantages. Diced ice is regular ice in the shape of cubes. It is commonly used for carbonated beverages, mixed drinks, ice displays, ice dispensing, banquet services and ice retailing. The Half Diced cube ice has a favorable liquid displacement. Contour cube or Regular Cube ice is just right for carbonated beverages, mixed drinks, ice displays, ice dispensing and ice retailing. Their unique design reduces splashes as the contour shape encourages the liquid to flow over easily. Individual cubes make them easy to dispense.

Nugget iceis the ideal choice for blended cocktails, bar fountain drinks, produce displays, salad bars and even therapeutic needs. Its diverse uses are due to the fact that the ice melts slowly. It cools a drink faster without any foam formation. It is the right option for patient care and therapeutic needs. It also displaces more liquid, which could translate to better profits.
