Automatic Sludge Drying Plant

The dryer plant is designed for a 7500 tonners per year dewatered digested sludge from teh waste water treatment plants of Shanghai,Beijing and Zhengzhou.

The dryer installed is a turns board drying facility with 2~6 dryer chamber modules. The thermal drying facility is using the exhaust energy from two CHP gas engines, operated with biogas from the biowaste-treatment plant.

The dryer is operated in the low temparature range of 130°c to max. 145°c. Thus , a high thermal effciency is achieved and the dryer operates at a high availability in a safe and dust free atmosphere.

The sludge is dried up to an average humidity of 10%, crushed and stored in a dry solids storage silo.

The drier materials has a significant energy value and is currently used as a fuel substitute in a cement factory .

The dryer installation adheres to strict emission limits for noise , air quality and odour.
