Air dryer is widely used for big electric equipments as transformers and reactor during maintenance. The dry air it provided can make the insulation of the equipment against wet and the service person inside the equipment against oxygen-lack.
It is safer, more reliable, economic and convenient than Nitrogen. Its working condition can not be affected by climate, it is good especially for Overnight Job, transformer and reactor will not get wet only if work man seal all flanges and fill dry air 0.1-0.3Mpa, no need to fill oil. By this way, work load to discharge and fill oil will be saved, maintenance period will be shortened and efficiency will be proved.
During filtering oil, you can fill oil tanks of the equipment and oil with dry air; this can ensure oil insulation quality and reduce water content during filtering oil in rainy days and wet condition. When air dryer is connected to oil store (or big oil tank), the stored oil are in qualified condition for long time. It is good for urgent use oil at any time. This machine can also be used for other storeroom, bibliotheca and production area which need to be dried.
The air dryer is consisted of no-heat regeneration absorption dryer, fine filter with tiny-oil frog, anti-dust filter, filter in main pipeline and cooling dryer. The rough filter will remove the dust from air, most moisture will be ice, and first drying is finished. The fine filter with tiny-oil frog (FA) 0.01μm will remove particle and oil frog, clean oil will be dried by absorption dryer. Pressure dew point can be -40°C ~-65°C, Air finally go to equipment through the filters in main pipe (FT).
