PVPE (Pneumatic Valve Bag Packaging Equipment) is an air flow valve bagger designed to fill dry, granulated powdered of flaked products into valve bags. The unit is a gross weigh type machine, ensuring that all product is in the bag at the time of final weighment. The air flow system is capable of high production rates while maintaining good accuracies. The machine is ruggedly constructed, complemented by top quality pneumatic and electronic components.
Developed over the last 30 years and refined with the latest automation components, the P. V. P. E comes in configurations from simplistic manual placement of valve bags by hand through to a fully automated placement and removal and when linked with further CWE products a complete filling to palletizing line can be achieved.
How It Works:
PVPE Air Packer fills bags by gross weight.
1. The bagger is fed from an overhead hopper, silo or mixer containing the product to be bagged.
2. The packing cycle begins with a charge of material from the overhead vessel being allowed to fall into the PVPE holding chamber.
3. The arm loader picks up an empty bag that was put on bag magazine, and automatically place it onto the packer spout.
4. The sensor reacting and pinch cylinder clamp onto the bag, the filling start
5. Low pressure is applied to the top and bottom of the chamber forcing product out the bottom fill tube into your bag. To assist the flow of product a fluidizing bed of air is introduced across the sloping bottom of the holding chamber. The PVPE packer works on differential pressure between the chamber where the product is stored and atmosphere where the product comes out of the nozzle (where valve bag is placed)
6. Once the aeration pad fluidizes the product in the chamber these differentials cause the product to naturally flow and fill the valve bags at rates typically 5-8 bags per minute@ 20kg
7. Electronic weighing and supervisory Programmable Logic Control (PLC) monitors the bag weight and controls the bag filling process.
8. A "kicker" table automatically ejects the bag at the completion of the cycle.
The cycle repeats, with a new bag fed onto the feed tube.
Products suitable for valve bag filler include sands, cement mixes, tile adhesives, plastics, renders and granulated rubber
