The induction furnace consists of top cover, upper body, support, inductor, hydraulicsystem, operation panel, control cabinet, etc.
The melting furnace and holding furnaceshare one furnace body together.The isolation wall between two furnaces is built in themiddle. There is a pass-way underneath to connect both furnaces, which allows themolten metal to flow freely from melting furnace to holding furnace. Both furnaces reequipped with line-frequency inductor respectively. The furnace body is built byrefractory bricks and the ramming materials.
The inductor consists of the shell, channel,core, water-cooler and the refractory materials. The core is made by Z11, 0.35mmcold-rolled silicon steel sheets. The induction coils are made by rectangular coppertube, wrapped by mica tape and fiberglass. The water-cooler is made by 3mm thick1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel plates.
