1. Introduction to Large Size Hydraulic Cutter Dredger

Cutter suction dredger is composed of the cutter ladder, ladder actuator rams or winches, control cabin, dredge pump, diesel engines, auxiliary power units, discharge line, and the spuds, including their actuator rams.

Two side pontoons provide the vessel with buoyancy and storage space. They are connected to the main pontoon with a quick connection-disconnection system. All the parts are of a size which allows the dredgers to be easily transported by road, rail or sea.
