New Hongda invested great on research of new material for agitator. Co-current agitator(Patent No.ZL97.247897.3)

This agitator is designed and applied firstly for phosphate acid (PA) extraction tank. However in the later practical application, it can be used for many service. In PA reaction tank, co-current agitator creates force whose direction is almost the same as the fluid flow and meanwhile the concentration gradient is low on the surface, which reduce the gaseous corrosion and fouling on shaft.

The agitator blade is designed according to the best position of speed critical area. Though its blade is smaller than PBT’s, its effect is much better than PBT. In addition, it diameter of critical area is small and radial current is slow, which reduce the damage of tank wall and extend reaction tank life.

Variable Cross-section&obliquity Agitator

The agitator can supply high recycled axial flow and less shear rate at low power consumption. Compared with traditional450 PBT agitator, it can save power 40%-50% with the same effect.

In the displacement reaction of PA and none-ferrous industries, leaching tank should be provided large pumping flow but smaller shear rate to prevent solid material from excessive broken of crystallization, which can make good conditions for later filtering and settling. For such application, NHD developed this Agitator. It has been widely used by customers from PA and none-ferrous industries, and the efficiency is remarkable.

Side-Entry Agitator

Side-entry agitator can be used in large scale liquid storage tank and oil tank. Its power consumption is only as 1/3 to 2/3 as center agitator’s for liquid tank above 1000m3 at the same effect of blending. The side-entry agitator has advantages, such as low manufacturing cost and foundation cost and will take a place in agitator market.

Extra long agitator

New Hongda developed the large agitator for 300,000t/a, pioneering the localization of the equipment in China. Meanwhile, New Hongda set a new record of application of high power, heavy load, extra long agitator in the industry.

The agitators are the key equipment of alumina production, and also make up high proportion of all production equipment.
